Information about the BETA of Analytics in Alexis HR

Welcome to the Analytics Beta !

Analytics is now available for all customers with Owner permission! 🎉 While the feature retains its Beta label, it offers powerful tools and widgets to help you gain valuable insights into your organization.

What is Analytics?

Analytics in Alexis HR is your go-to tool for exploring and visualizing key data about your organization. It helps you track metrics like headcount, turnover, compensation costs, and absence rates, empowering you to make data-driven decisions.

Even as a Beta feature, Analytics is available to all customers with Owner permission and will continue to evolve with more features and refinements.

Here’s what you can do:

  • Analytics and the overview page is only visible to Owners.

  • All information on the overview page will visible to all Owners regardless of who created/edited a widget.

  • You can create, edit, add, delete widgets.

    • Maximum of 15 widgets are allowed to be created on each page.

  • You can have 1,2 or 3 widgets per row

  • All Widgets can by be grouped by and filtered by:

    • All employees (default)

    • Departments, Offices, Teams, Employment types, Organizations, Gender, Age

Available widgets

1: Top fixed widgets

Contains the following data

Total headcount

  • This calculates the current (todays) amount of active employees.

    • If clicked a more detailed modal opens up showing more details on the gender distribution.

Full time equivalents (FTE%)

  • This calculates the current (todays) amount of active employees and takes their employment rate into consideration. 2 employees with 50% employment rate would be calculated as 1 FTE.

    • If clicked a more detailed modal opens up showing ranges for the different employment rates and the amount of employees within each range.

Joiners/Leavers (YTD)

  • How many employees in total that has joined the company or left the company since the start of the current year. YTD refers to year to date.

Average employee age

  • This calculates the current (todays) amount of employees and their age and then divides it by the number of employees.

    • Date of birth field is required.

Company average tenure

  • This calculates the total tenures of the employees in the company. Their first start date up until today. Then divides that number by the amount of employees.

2.Customizable Widgets

Compensation Cost Widget

  • Calculate total compensation costs, including salaries, bonuses, and other types of compensation.

  • Customize by grouping or filtering data and applying currency conversions.


Absence Widgets

  • Absence %: Calculate leave as a percentage of work hours.

  • Absence Days: Track leave in days.

  • Absence Hours: Monitor leave in hours for precision.


Employee Movement Widgets

  • Turnover %: Measure employee attrition rates.

  • Joiners/Leavers: Track hiring and offboarding trends.


Employee Widgets

  • FTE%: Visualize your organization’s full-time equivalent capacity.

  • Headcount: Get a clear view of total employees.
