Activate the integration with our powerful AI-enabled Slackbot, Alexis AI, and introduce it to the rest of your organization to transform your HR experience. This feature not only enhances accessibility, efficiency, and user-friendliness for HR tasks but also allows employees to access vital information from your company handbooks directly within Slack.
Please note that this guide specifically covers the setup and usage of Alexis AI Slackbot, which differs from our other Slackbot, AlexisHR. For reference, you can learn more about how to activate the AlexisHR Slackbot here, however, we recommend you to only use the Alexis AI Slackbot going forward as it replaces the AlexisHR Slackbot.
Activate AlexisAI on Slack
Go to the Company > Slack. To activate the integration, you must be an Owner or Admin in Alexis and be an Admin in your Slack workspace. Click on "Connect Slack".
Follow the instructions on the subsequent page and click "Allow".
Once completed, you will find Alexis AI listed under the "Apps" section in Slack.
Test a prompt such as "help" and wait for the bot to provide the answer.
If you get automatically logged out, you'll see a green button on Slack requesting you to log in again to confirm the integration.
Ask employees to follow these instructions to install the Alexis AI bot to their Slack and to learn more on how to use it.
