My Time Off has a new look and feel and has become mobile friendly

My Time Off has gone through a redesign and restructure. Not only does it look cleaner and more modern, but we’ve also made sure that key information and actions are easier to find and use. In addition to that, My Time Off is now fully responsive, meaning it finally looks and works great on your phone too. With this update, the entire employee profile is now mobile-friendly!

Introducing Time Off Overview for Manger

We’re pleased to introduce the new Time Off Overview, a dedicated view designed to help managers efficiently track and manage their team’s absences. This first version provides a clear overview of team members, including how many leave tasks require attention, a weekly summary of who’s on leave, and a task list of pending leave requests. Managers can also view team absences in both calendar and gantt formats, access time off balances (used and remaining) with export functionality, and benefit from a responsive design that works well on smaller devices.

Please note: This view is available exclusively to managers. The existing Time Off Overview for owners remains available under the separate Admin tab.

Edit registered leaves without revoking

It is now possible to edit registered leave entries without the need to revoke and resubmit the request. This streamlines the correction process and improves the user experience for both employees and managers. Historical leaves can only be edited by Manager, Admin or Owner.

Allowance configuration for custom leaves

Administrators can now configure allowances for custom leave types. This includes the ability to enforce strict limits, preventing users from exceeding their allocated quota for such leaves.

Support for coverage rate on parental leave

Support has been added for the Norwegian parental leave setup, allowing for specification of 100% or 80% coverage rates. This ensures accurate tracking and compliance with Norwegian leave entitlements.

Strict rules for vacation leave

A new setting allows administrators to prevent employees from exceeding their vacation leave balance. When enabled, this restriction ensures that leave requests cannot surpass the available allowance, supporting better balance control and policy enforcement.

Leave policy descriptions

Administrators can now add descriptions to leave policies. These descriptions are visible to employees during the leave request process, offering contextual information and guidance on the intended use and terms of the leave type.

Cap on transferring vacation days

Organizations can now set a maximum limit on the number of vacation days transferred from one year to the next. This ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, particularly in jurisdictions such as Norway.
